ALGOTRACKER
Android  ·  v1.4  ·  No internet permission

See what the feed is feeding you.

Your algorithm has an opinion about you and never shows you what it is. AlgoTracker reads the posts actually on your screen, sorts them into real categories, and shows you the mix you are being served.

Real posts. Not a guess about you.

The first version of this engine scored almost every English screen as technology, because it matched the word fragment "ai" inside said, again and email. That version was deleted.

What replaced it tokenises properly, weighs phrases above single words, throws away interface chrome, and refuses to label anything it is not confident about. Unclassified is a real answer the app is willing to give.

Limits that actually hold

A foreground guard watches which app is in front and steps in at the number you set. It survives a reboot, because a limit that forgets itself overnight is decoration.

  • LOCKA full-screen stop when an app passes its daily limit.
  • BREAKA nudge when one unbroken session runs too long.
  • DIETA daily read on how much of the mix was worth your time.
  • REPORTA multi-page PDF written on the phone and saved to Downloads.

No streaks. No points. No badges.

Every other app in this category gamifies the thing it claims to be curing, then celebrates when you open it. That is the same loop in a different colour.

There is nothing to win here. You get a number, an honest label for it, and a control that works. What you do with it is your business.

It cannot leak your feed, because it cannot reach the network.

An app that reads what is on your screen has to be trusted absolutely, so this one removes the need for trust. It declares no internet permission at all. Android will not let it open a connection even if the code tried to.

Every category, every creator count and every report is produced on the phone. There is no account, no sync, no analytics library and nowhere for any of it to go.
